Wellness for the whole person - emotional, social, spiritual and physical - is the goal of The Bradley Center's team of professionals which employs a multi-disciplinary team approach to treatment. Experienced and compassionate psychiatrists, therapists, counselors, nurses and support staff collaborate to ensure the best possible care for every patient. Services include inpatient, outpatient, and day treatment (Partial Hospitalization Program or PHP) services, including detoxification treatment. These programs, along with support groups and educational programs, work together to enhance the quality of life for individuals and families as well as the community and region.
With board-certified adult, geriatric and child psychiatrists working with Advanced Practice nurses and family and PMHNP–certified practitioners, The Bradley Center has well-trained, competent and experienced staff.
The admissions office operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to assist during times of crisis with walk-in or scheduled assessments available. During the assessment process, our mental health professionals gather information on the individual’s current issues including their psychological and medical history. If a patient doesn’t have their own psychiatrist, the staff will contact a psychiatrist for them.
The first step for the patient in securing care for themselves or a loved one is a call to the 24/7 Intake and Assessment line at (706) 320-3700 for an immediate assessment or to schedule an appointment. You can also walk in without an appointment or obtain a referral from your health care professional. Following the free confidential assessment, our staff and a psychiatrist will discuss appropriate care based on your (or your child's) needs. These options may include inpatient hospitalization, day treatment programs, or referral to an outpatient therapist or physician.
Issues generally explored during the assessment process include:
The Bradley Center accepts both voluntary and involuntary patients. Voluntary patients may self-refer for assessment and admission by calling 706-320-3753. Patients who are reluctant to seek inpatient treatment may be admitted involuntarily through Georgia’s commitment process (sometimes called a “1013 commitment”). For more information about the admissions or commitment process, just call us.
The Bradley Center accepts most insurances as well as self-pay.
